New Digital Release: Renewals and Reincarnations

Cappella Nova Mundi is excited to announce the release of our second album, Renewals and Reincarnations.
This new album contains nine world premiere recordings, eight of which are of works by the Renaissance master Pierre de la Rue (c.1452–1518). The other first recording here is an arrangement for SATB voices based on the slow movement of Ludwig van Beethoven's String Quartet Op. 132, set to a text by Rainer Maria Rilke. Also on the CD is a recording of the famous motet Absalon, fili mi, whose authorship is still contested. This motet and the Mass, however, both feature a very distinctive extended section which is very similar in both works, adding to the fascination of the possible attribution of the motet to Pierre de la Rue. |

Live Concert Recordings
CNM has done many live recordings of concerts over the years. We do all the work ourselves, and upload most of the footage to Youtube. The lighting in our concert venues is not always ideal for video image quality, but the audio is always using the best equipment available. Below you can find several highlights, regularly updated with new recordings after each concert.
